Job Summary: In conjunction with the major donor team, develop and execute strategies to engage high-capacity supporters, steward key stakeholder relationships, and support the fundraising efforts of the ministry.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute donor care strategy for high-capacity individuals connected with the ministry.
  • Manage a portfolio of donor prospects by identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships to deepen engagement and maximize impact.
  • Acknowledge and steward donor gifts by writing thank-you notes, calling, sending emails, and providing personalized care on special occasions.
  • Research to provide briefings on new major donors and/or prospective donors.
  • Research foundations for potential grant applications.
  • Coordinate and oversee the project management of all grant applications and reporting, ensuring timely completion and compliance with requirements.
  • Plan and execute ministry events for prospects and donors in collaboration with other divisions and brand teams.
  • Manage the production and project coordination of all fundraising materials for major donors, including emails, direct mail, case for support documents, investment reports, briefing materials, invitations, and other donor communications.
  • Oversee and maintain the donor data management function for the major donor team, with special emphasis on the CRM system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of new major donors, and maintain thorough records of donor meetings.
  • Collaborate with other divisions on revenue re-forecasting and budgeting.
  • Actively engage in learning and understanding the ministry; including our values, mission, vision, strategy, history, programs, team, and funding goals.
  • All other duties as assigned by the President/Co-Founder.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Alignment with our mission and core values
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related professional experience with high-capacity donors.
  • Strong technical proficiency in data management, productivity software, email marketing software, and CRM systems, including tools such as Google Workspace, Virtuous, Slack, and Asana.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for work and training.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and goal-driven with a strong focus on achieving results.
